Perhaps best known for his large monumental sculptures drawing from art history, the Spanish artist Manolo Valdés has carved Bookcases that might interest hi-fi hobbyists because of their absorption and diffusion characteristics.

More pertinently, the Bookcases reflect Manolo Valdés’ mixed media approach and exploration of contemporary culture and everyday life – “many projects from one single image”. The Bookcases can also be seen as a result of Valdes having been previously influenced by Pop Art.
